For Children's Books
On the 28th May 2010 a magical children's bookshop in Island Bay celebrated it's 39th year of enthralling imaginations! Those of you who still dream and believe in fairies, giants, talking gorillas, hungry caterpillars and the smile on a child's face as they discover them through books will love this little magical place served by the delightful storytellers, Fay and Bill Far, or 'the Fars' as they are simply known locally.

Katherine Mansfield Birthplace Museum
We were delighted to film in the birthplace of New Zealand's enigmatic, much loved and top storyteller, Katherine Mansfield. We deployed our cameras to capture a 'day-in-the-life' of this wonderful Wellington museum and were humbled by the emotional, funny and heart warming stories displayed with the toys of their Best Loved Toy exhibition.
Every toy on display by the public was carefully set amongst the recreated turn of the century charm in each room. Many of the exhibitors, old and young alike, were kind enough to share their toys and stories to our camera. The resulting footage is shaping up to be a perfect blend of nostalgia, happiness, charm and a glimpse into the simple love between a person and their best loved toy. Watch this magical film and share your own memories soon at the museum!

Durie Hill Elevator Wanganui
One of only two examples in the world, the Durie Hill Elevator in Wanganui is something rather special. If you can visit the place then you will not be disappointed with this unique New Zealand tourist destination. But the real story behind the postcards and visitors is what intrigued Kevworld Productions to film there in 2010. In our short film you will get a taste for what you can see and hear, and who you may meet in there. Currently in production this film will be as long as a journey down the tunnel and up the lift takes. Something a little exciting and interesting just like the real thing.

101 Takes - Behind the scenes and EPK for 101 Dates
We have been filming the funny girl Sarah Harpur, as Alice, and her gorgeous supporting cast of Emma Olsen, as Mary, & Jacob Rosevear, as Luke plus all Sarah's 'interesting' dates. They looked great in front of the scenes on screen, but just as equally fantastic to watch were the crew behind the camera!
Kevworld Productions is proud to bring you this exclusive behind-the-scenes and blooper series, releasing along side the main episodes of 101 Dates. Watch the laughs and tears and you will learn how many people were really in Alice's apartment during filming (you will be surprised!), what it takes to do what Chaz Harris does, who the talented young crew were and how they made it. Plus never-before-seen material from the finest stand up comedians in Wellington...most of who we actually asked to sit on a bed, or a flower pot and even a toilet whilst we interviewed them!

Kiwi2x2
In September 2009 Kevworld Productions set about to capture a story on film, not just any story, but one of New Zealand as told by its people - thus the idea of Kiwi2x2 was born. The name and theme is borrowed from the story of Noah. But instead of building an ark to save animals in whilst sailing the seas for 40 days and nights, our plan was to drive from Cape Reinga, heading south, until we reached Bluff. The journey and story along the way would be controlled by the people we met and those links they gave us - essentially recording a snapshot of New Zealand lives, 2 by 2. on the modern ark of digital film.
During the week or so of filming from Cape Reinga, via Te Hapua and Waitangi, we were welcomed onto maraes and into the stories of some fantastic New Zealanders. This story is not yet over, but for now the journey has ended.
